The Research Analysis course is for people who want to work as equity research analysts or become SEBI-registered Research Analysts, and for serious investors who want to write proper stock research. It also prepares you for the NISM Series XV exam.

A SEBI-registered RA can publish research reports and recommendations. To register, you need the NISM Series XV certification along with other conditions such as a graduate degree. The revised Series XV exam has applied since January 2026. A part-time RA category, capped at 75 clients, also exists.

This course suits:

  • Commerce, finance or MBA graduates aiming for research roles at brokerages.
  • Finance professionals who want to register as an RA.
  • Experienced investors who want a disciplined research process.
  • Content creators who want to stay on the right side of SEBI rules.

You will practise building a research report: industry analysis, financial modelling, valuation and a clearly argued view. For instance, valuing a hypothetical FMCG company at ₹1,200 per share and explaining every assumption behind it.

A common mistake is treating the RA exam as only a certificate. Employers want to see a sample report, so build one during the course.

Eligibility and syllabus details are on the Research Analysis course page.
