NISM exams are held at authorised test centres, and you choose one while booking your exam on the NISM certification portal. The portal shows the centres currently available in Mumbai, Thane, Navi Mumbai and other cities, along with open slots.
We don’t list specific addresses here because test centres can be added, closed or changed, and the portal is always the accurate source. When booking, filter by city and then check the exact address of the centre before you confirm.
A few practical tips for Mumbai-region students:
- Pick a centre close to a railway station on your line; local train delays are the most common reason students arrive stressed.
- Check the centre’s location on a map a day before, as some are inside office complexes with confusing entrances.
- Book weekday slots if you can; weekend slots in central Mumbai fill faster.
A hypothetical example: a student living in Kalyan books a centre in South Mumbai because it had a Saturday slot, then spends two hours travelling and arrives tired. Picking a Thane or Navi Mumbai centre with a weekday slot would have been smarter.
