NISM exam fees vary by module and are listed on the official NISM certification portal. Since they can be revised, check the current fee for your specific module on the portal before booking.
We don’t quote a number here because fees differ between certifications and NISM updates them from time to time. The portal shows the applicable fee when you select a module and book a slot, along with any taxes.
Beyond the exam fee, plan for a few other costs:
- Study material: NISM publishes official workbooks for each module.
- Rescheduling charges, if you change your slot after booking.
- A re-attempt fee if you don’t clear it the first time, which is the expensive one.
That last point is where preparation pays for itself. Say a student books Series VIII, studies for a few days, and scores 52%. Since the pass mark is 60%, they pay the fee again and lose weeks. Getting through the first time is the cheapest route.
If you’re considering coaching, our NISM exam preparation course covers modules like equity derivatives and mutual fund distributors over 4 to 6 weeks. Course fees at Upside depend on the programme, with installment options; a counsellor can confirm the current amount.
